Cinematic Arts
Cinematic Arts at ICA is where technology meets storytelling, and where the screen becomes a canvas. Students in this discipline explore the full spectrum of screen-based creative arts, from the frame-by-frame craft of animation to the world-building logic of game design, the visual poetry of photography, and the collaborative art of filmmaking. Whether students dream of directing features, designing interactive experiences, capturing breathtaking images, or animating characters that feel alive, the Cinematic Arts program equips them with the technical skills, creative instincts, and professional mindset to turn those dreams into a career. This is art for the digital age, and at ICA, students don't just consume it, they create it.

Game Design
From concept to playable experience, game design is one of the most multidisciplinary art forms there is, blending visual art, storytelling, sound, and code into a single interactive world. Students learn the fundamentals of game development and discover how creative vision becomes something others can experience firsthand.
Animation
Bringing still images to life is its own kind of magic. Students explore the principles of animation, from character movement and timing to world-building and visual storytelling, developing the technical skills and artistic sensibility to make audiences feel something frame by frame.

Filmmaking
The defining art form of our era. Students learn the full language of cinema from script to screen, developing skills in directing, cinematography, editing, and sound design to tell original stories through one of the world's most powerful and collaborative mediums.
Photography
A great image does more than document — it interprets. Students develop both the technical command of the camera and the artistic eye to frame, light, and compose images that tell a story and leave a lasting impression.
