Rae Tedeton

Rae Tedeton is an interdisciplinary artist and teacher from Louisiana whose work investigates memory, humor, and lived experience through the landscapes of the Mississippi Delta. Using cyanotypes of collected objects, painting, and self-portraiture, they explore the ways everyday materials can hold personal and cultural histories. Their work often begins with cyanotype prints that become the foundation for layered paintings, connecting photography, printmaking, and painting through an experimental process. In the classroom, they encourage curiosity, material exploration, and the development of each student's unique creative voice.
