Nicholas Mesa

Nicholas C. Mesa, 38, born in Yuma, AZ, started dancing at the age of 13 with Yuma Ballet Theatre under the Direction of Thom Clower, from there training under various National and International Instructors. He has trained extensively in Ballet, Pas De Deux, Jazz, Tap, Modern and Hip Hop, as well as various Social Dance Styles. Nicholas has been teaching the Art of Dance for the past 17 years, sharing his love and passion for the art form with young and old alike.​

 

Mesa enjoys introducing dance and

movement to new audiences, invigorating an interest in young and beginner students, as well as facilitating the healing and joy that can come from dance and movement. He has taught at many studios around the country, most recently The Dancers Workshop of Yuma in his hometown.​

 

Nicholas has worked in many capacities throughout his career including Assistant Director for Ruidoso Dance Ensemble in Ruidoso, NM; and Instructor/Outreach at Western Arkansas Ballet in Fort Smith, AR where he worked and performed alongside his brother, Jared Mesa, and his sister-in-law Brianna Hagar, while also attending Burklyn Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive in Johnson, VT as a Counselor, Teacher, Dancer, and Choreographer for several years.

Nicholas is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and expertise with CSA, its

students, staff, and all who choose to pursue the Art of Dance and Movement.
